Both the Surfside Inn and Suites and the Dockside Inn and Suites are at the "more affordable" end of the price range for Universal's hotels. Both offer Standard Rooms (313 square feet) for 4 people with 2 queen beds with separate bath and vanity areas, or 2 Bedroom Suites (440 square feet) which sleep up to 6 and have one bedroom with 2 queen beds, a second bedroom with one queen bed, plus a kitchenette area and bathroom with separate bath and vanity areas. There is complementary transportation between the hotels and the parks.Guests at the new resort do not receive the same perks as those at the existing Portofino Bay Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort and Hard Rock Hotel. Most significantly, they are not equipped with unlimited Universal Express passes, which enable guests at the other resorts to skip the lines for major attractions. However, they are able to take advantage of early entry into Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure - a particularly important perk for those visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
