Pinocchio's Daring Journey at Tokyo Disneyland

A classic Disney dark ride based on the story of the puppet that wants to be a “real” boy, which first opened at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983 and has since been cloned at Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.

The vehicles move through the ride building at a fairly rapid pace, taking in scenes such as Stromboli’s Marionette Show, the Pleasure Island funfair and an appearance by Monstro the whale. Finally, guests emerge into a triumphant scene (accompanied by “When You Wish Upon a Star”) in Gepetto’s Workshop, where Pinocchio has at last achieved his life’s ambition.
