Key Information
Samurai was originally installed under the same name at nearby Chessington World of Adventures, which is owned by Thorpe Park’s operator Merlin. It was moved to its current location when the company decided that Thorpe Park should focus on the teen and young adult market, and it’s easy to see why.
A Mondial Top Scan ride, Samurai sees riders boarding one of six arms attached to a central column. They are then raised into the air and spun wildly, rotating forwards and backwards in a disorienting experience.
