Key Information
Rush was the largest S&S Screaming Swing ride in the world when it debuted at Thorpe Park in mid-2005. It is made up of two enormous arms, which can hold 16 riders each. These essentially act as a gigantic playground swing, rocking backwards and forwards, reaching a maximum height of 75 feet and hitting speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.
The ride has lost its crown as the world largest Screaming Swing to larger models elsewhere, but Rush remains one of the most visually dominant rides at Thorpe Park.
