Key Information
La Ronde became the latest Six Flags park to open a version of the SkyScreamer spinning tower ride in May 2012, with the debut of Vol Ultime. The new ride is smaller than many other installations, standing at 45 metres (148 feet) tall. As with other versions of SkyScreamer, it sees guests swinging in circles around a central tower, in a vertigo-inducing variation on the classic "chair-o-plane" ride.
Up to 32 passengers are able to experience Vol Ultime (which translates to "Ultimate Flight") at a time, reaching a top speed of 43 miles per hour. The attraction offers views over La Ronde and the surrounding area, with riders able to sit in pairs in its 16 twin seats.
