Banshee does HAVE theming. As said by PR of Kings Island Don Helbig, there will be gravestones on the site and throughout the ride. The station is themed to an Irish chapel and there could be some fog machines throughout the ride but only at night if they go through with it.

For those who wonder, Kings Island is retheming Flight Deck as The Bat. If I recall right, it's an orange track, black cars, and charcoal supports. And I do agree: Banshee was the perfect opportunity to have some theming to it. The only major rides at the park that do are Flight of Fear (which is only in the queuing area) and Backlot Stunt Coaster. I have a feeling that within the next few years, they'll add a little something extra to it. Cedar Fair is rarely one to miss out on an opportunity to cash in

I loved The Bat! It was such an awesome ride! I was very disappointed when it was replaced with Vortex -- that one gives me a terrible headache every time I ride it!

i know right I mean the vortex is ok but It hurts my head and my back

Hoping that during the off season they just retheme or repaint Flight Deck and bring back the Bat that way. Then it would tie in nicely with Banshee.

I love flight deck and they should totally repaint it.it really needs it. I have never ridden the bat though it sounds like it would be fun!

Same. A graveyard back in the woods is a must, and and at LEAST a few optical illusions where it looks like you're going to hit a really old tree or something. This looks like a fantastic ride, though.

I'm very excited for the new coaster, but I hope they do put props in to add to the theme. Still holding hope that they will reinvent the bat and bring it back at some point.
