Review

The level of theming of this ride, even before you've got on the ride is some of the best in the country, even better as it's a relatively small park. You really do feel as though you're going a considerable way underground with the help of the tunneled queue and the stairs going down into the station. The ride is in almost complete darkness, not that 'safety darkness' that most indoor rides operate in now, which means of you don't know the layout, then the ride is so much more enjoyable than it would be outdoors. The drops really take you by surprise and you can't see the track in front of you so you have no idea how big the drop is. Being a Schwarzkopf Wildcat, the ride doesn't bore down towards then end, with the final helix being just as enjoyable as the first drop. The addition of animatronic raptors lit up by strobes really makes a good effect.
The only downside to the ride I'd say is that it can get queues up to and over an hour on busy days compared to 20 minutes or so for The Ultimate next door. If you're visiting on a peak day then I think it's worth buying a Front of the Queue ticket as they're pretty cheap and will save a lot of queuing.
Overall a fantastic ride and is well worth a ride on this Schwarzkopf classic while as it's one of only 2 left in the UK.
