It's not very often that I'm glad a coaster isn't very long, but I was glad Lightning Rod wasn't very long. This ride is exhilarating and terrifying. You'll want to check the restraint on your seat very closely, as you'll need it. From the moment you're launched up the first hill you're out of your seat as often as you're in it. Every hill (including a couple of completely sideways turns) flies by and you are moving fast. It really feels like you could go flying out of your seat at any moment. The one complaint I had is there is really nothing to hold onto (and while I love coasters, I hold on--that's the chicken in me). A terrific roller-coaster!
