Review

I was lucky enough to spend an evening there when I was on a vacation of sorts. We arrived rather late in the evening. The check in process only took a few minutes. The hotel itself was beautiful. It really was like a home away from home. Having vacationed at WDW and DLR it was a welcome sight to see. When we arrived in our room we were amazed at the level of detail and little Disney things we saw. We went to bed after gorging ourselves on all the little things. The beds were big enough for two but we each took one. Definitely the best sleep I'd had in weeks. I've stayed in all manner of Disney resorts but was surprised by the amenities.
From slippers to the plastic tea set, it was all cool.
The next morning we made our way to the lobby to check out and begin our day at HK Disneyland. We stopped at Walt's Café for breakfast. My companion having Egg's Benedict and I opting for the Chinese Breakfast. The food and view were awesome. The Chinese breakfast is noodles and congee. Congee is a rice porridge of sorts. It reminded me of grits, to a degree. They also had a variety of cereal and breads on the buffet, as well as honey, straight from a honeycomb. Everyone spoke English, even if a little broken. When we checked out was when it got interesting. We had booked our hotel through a third party travel site but they hadn't sent the reservation in yet. Low and behold, the cast member helping us speaks fantastic English and has worked for Disney in Orlando and California. She was a life saver! Not to mention it was nice speaking to someone with a knowledge of other parks. I wish I could post some of my photo's. These words don't do the hotel justice.
