OK, it is not a thrill ride so don't expect it to be. For my train-obsessed 6 year old, the operators of this ride made it a once in a lifetime experience. At the stops they let him look at the engine, climb in the cab and ring the bell (slow day). The various workers really went out of their way to engage the kids and make it fun. The touristy commentary was better some times than others when the speaker knew to speak clearly and had fun trivia about the various sites. A great place to sit for a little while and keep the kids entertained.
