Banshee is a great ride and the newest addition to Kings Island. Located in the Action Zone area of KI, Banshee sits on the site formerly occupied by the Son of Beast coaster. There is even a stone monument to the coaster in the Banshee queue line, complete with "eternal" flame on top. The Banshee station is really interesting, modeled on a Celtic church with high cathedral ceilings. Once you're strapped in, you're off on a looping, twisting, inverting ride that doesn't slow down. That's the one memorable thing about Banshee. Other coasters have sections where the coaster is slowed by brakes, but there are no brakes on Banshee until your ride has ended!
