Review

Who here DOESN'T like to get a free drink? (No, I'm not talking alcoholic drink, but a good free drink after walking around in the hot Florida sun.)

I know I sure do, and given the jacked-up prices for drinks these days, especially so when you're in a theme park environment, anytime you can get something for free (and as much as you'd like), THIS guy gives it a thumb's up.

That's where Club Cool comes in. This attraction unto itself is more of a Coca-Cola gift shop that so happens to offer Epcot guests stations where they can try free samples (in little Coke paper cups) of various sodas from all over the world (though one may not be carbonated).

There are 3-4 different stations in Club Cool, usually set with two-three tasting machines, so everyone will have a chance for a taste. Be fair-warned: some flavors are delicious, some flavors are down-right disgusting (one in particular always comes to mind, but I won't name it), and some may be just "mehh".

The flavors and countries of origin are as follows:

"Smart Watermelon" (China)
"Kinley Lemon" (Israel)
"Lychee Mello" (Thailand)
"Vegitabeta" (Japan)
"Fanta Kolita" (Costa Rica)
"Mezzo Mix" (Germany)
"Beverly" (Italy)
"Krest Ginger Ale" (Mozambique)

I'll just say that my favorite of all the flavors is probably Japan's "Vegitabeta", which actually seems to be more of a juice drink than a soda.

For those of you who have been to Club Cool before, you can really have some fun here by bringing in people who never have been. You individuals will already know which one is the worst flavor, and it can be quite entertaining to get someone to try it under false pretenses, but be sure to get your cameras out when you do.

I never feel the need to buy any Coke-related product (clothing, toy, bank, etc), but I view Club Cool as a nice place to get a free drink and you can go as often and stay as long as you'd like.

Check it out.
