Thunder River is full of fun, used to be a bit more back when all of the pumps were in constant use to soak the park guests. Today, most of the pumps that spray the guests come from the pumps that other guests must pay for to use.

Despite the fact that these pumps do not run, you will still have a pretty good chance of getting wet during the ride.

The layout and design lacks some of the more elaborate river rapid ride layouts such as the Penguins Blizzard River that used to exist at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.
