Just a year or two after The Boss opened, I remember a man that was trying to set a record for consecutive rides on the coaster. I am not sure if he set a record, but I do know that several wondered how he could stand ride after ride after ride on the roughest ride in the park.

There have been rumors about possible retracking or the switching out of the trains, but nothing has surfaced so far.

Despite the roughness of the ride, The Boss is still one of the best wooden coasters that I have been on and it can definitely compete with the top ranked wooden coasters at the nearby Holiday World.
