All river rapid, (and water) attractions warn that "you-will-get-wet" but that isn't always the case. However, in the case of Islands of Adventure's elaborately themed Popeye ride, never has that warning rung more true. It's as if the designers of this ride went out of their way to make sure every single guest who rides this is drenched from head to toe when they exit 3 minutes after boarding. For some that's great, others it's the worst, but it's satisfying for anyone who is in Orlando any time between early May and late September. Luckily the ride is very nicely themed and boasts a river course that feels unique from your usual, stock rapids tracks.
