First, danger, anywhere you sit, it is going to be hard to keep your eyes open during the launch.... (imagine sticking your head outside with window when going 60 MPH, then think about what it must be like to double that and more, now you are thinking Kingda Ka....)
When I got a chance to visit the park during Kingda Ka's first year, I was not going to leave without a front row ride of the world's newest, tallest coaster.
When I sat in the front looking up the coaster's climb, it reminded me a lot of Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point for obvious reasons. However, this ride added a needed element with the second large hill that allows the coaster to slow down with a climb and a brake section on the downhill side.
