When looking across the three All-Star value resorts at Disney World, Movies has a few pros and a definite con compared to Sports and Music.

First, the pros are the fact that when most visit Disney, they want the true Disney magic from the movies. Obviously, with All-Star Movies, you are thrown right into some of the best known Disney movies of all time. Toy Story, Fantasia, Love Bug, 101 Dalmatians and the Mighty Ducks are the five themed sections within the resort.

As soon as you walk through the doors and into the main pool, you are thrown into the true star of Disney, Mickey Mouse himself. The main pool is themed to Fantasia, and the centerpiece is Sorcerer Mickey sending three streams of water out into the pool below. The scene sets up a Disney vacation to a great start.

Each building throughout the resort is themed just as well as the Disney World parks. The mix of themeing and Disney service is what makes All-Star Movies one of the best value resorts at Disney World.

With all the positive about the resort, the only major drawback about the All-Star Movies is the fact that it is the third resort that some of the buses will stop at if the buses stop at all three of the All-Star resorts. This will typically result in long lines when you are trying to go somewhere during the middle of the day when fewer buses are running. During our last stay, we had to wait over 45 minutes for a bus to pick us up because they were all filling up at Sports and Music before reaching Movies. While this only happened a couple of times, it is something that will stick with you when there is typically not a ton to complain about with Disney.

All-in-all, the resort is going to provide most visitors with a great experience. Just make sure that you get to the bus stops at the right times, and you will never have to worry about the one con of this fabulously themed resort.
