If you've never been on Star Tours, you're in for a treat. If you've never been on Star Tours 2, you're in for a treat. But if you've never been on Stars Tours 2 in Tokyo Disneyland...you'll find the ride itself the same but the experience quite different. The queue starts off a bit different than the US versions and also features one of my favorite in-park gags: the Hitchhiking Droids. Riding Star Tours in Tokyo, however, is a whole new experience with the Japanese population. I rode the ride with dozens of Japanese people who were decked out in full Disney garb and likely own annual passes to the resort. Yet the response was like being in the pod with a bunch of first-timers. It's an invigorating experience to be surrounded by people who are truly enjoying themselves. You can't help but smile along with 'em!
