These are the words of the first ride attendant I ever encountered on this ride. I was young and gullible and believed him. I was so trusting, I even agreed to go in the front row when no one else wanted to. This ride is a classic, but if you don't want to get wet, don't even consider it. No poncho on earth can save you once you're in. My advice, don't ride before 1pm, at least you'll then have some chance of drying off in the afternoon sun. Queues are very rarely longer than 15 minutes. Also, don't ride last thing. There is nothing more unpleasant than sitting in a car (or worse, on a bus) whilst being absolutely soaked.
