Though it wasn’t supposed to kick off until October 1, 2021, it looks like Disney will be debuting its Early Theme Park Entry a little bit earlier than anticipated, with Disney resort hotel Guests and guests of other select hotels able to use Early Theme Park Entry beginning on September 26, 2021.
Early Theme Park entry benefit is available to all Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels each day at each park, and offers 30 minutes of additional time. Most attractions will be open for guests who want to use this park, including, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which switched to using a standby queue earlier this week. Guests looking to take advantage of this perk can look for “Early Entry for Participating Hotels” signage to enter.
In addition to the Early Entry program, guests staying at a Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotel will also be able to enjoy extended evening hours on select nights in select theme parks. However, as of right now it looks like these extended evening hours will begin in early October with specific dates and parks to be shared at a later time.
Though the Early Theme Park Entry program will be a little bit different than the Extra Magic Hours program it replaced, it looks like Disney hotel guests will get a good value from their extra park time, especially when it comes to getting access to the most popular attractions at each park with minimal wait.
