Portions of EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion Reopen This Weekend Under Disney Management

Earlier this week select restaurants and merchandise locations found within the Morocco pavilion at EPCOT closed to allow Disney to assume operations of all of the Morocco Pavilion, including the following dining and merchandise locations, which have reopened:

    • Souk-Al-Magreb merchandise location
    • Morocco Kidcot Fun Stop will relocate to the east side of the pavilion
    • Spice Road Table – This location reopens this weekend with an updated menu featuring a variety of small plate options, such as Hummus Fries, Fried Calamari, Triopitakia and a wide selection of beverages. Reservations are no longer available as this location has transitioned to walkup only

As of right now, Restaurant Marrakesh and the Medina merchandise location will remain closed for the time being, but will hopefully reopen sometime in 2021.

Though all merchandise and food locations are now operated by Disney rather than third parties, Disney has confirmed that The Moroccan Embassy and Morocco Tourism Board will still be involved on some level, and hopefully this pavilion will continue to represent its home country well even though ownership has changed.
