August 28 - In the latest video update posted to YouTube from Theme Park Stop which is embedded below, we get to see progress being made on all lands in Epic Universe.

Interesting updates have particularly come from the Dark Universe with new trademark applications being revealed including "Pretorius' Scientific Oddities" which could be for a new retail location and "The Manor Storehouse" which could be for a retail location at the exit of the land have been filed.

The most exciting new trademark is "Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment" which is expected to be for the main attraction, an indoor attraction which will utilise kuka arm technology, the same as is used in Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal's Islands of Adventure. This main attraction is set to include all Universal Classic Monsters but will begin in Frankenstein's lab.

Another trademark is "De Lacey's" which is speculated to be for the cottage used as a kiosk for snacks, next to the main attraction. More trees have been planted in the Dark Universe area and work continues on the second roller coaster, "Curse of the Werewolf".

Over at the Wizarding World, work is happening on the entry arch which is now enclosed with weather proofing now in place. The column has been installed on top of the entrance portal and the beacon for this land is expected to be a hand holding a magic wand which is expected to be placed on top.

In How To Train Your Dragon the impressive second dragon which is red has been installed on the Skyfly ride. Further rock work is being erected. As can be seen in the video, work continues in all other lands across Epic Universe, which land are you most impressed with so far? Let us know by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.

August 23 - There has been another massive photo update posted on Twitter by Bioreconstruct. Progress is being made on all areas of Epic Universe, we have chosen a few main photos to show how Universal's third gate currently looks.

Let's start with an overview of the whole park. It is so exciting to see how much progress is being made on this huge site.

There have been a number of updates in the central area of Epic Universe.

Work is continuing on the large and smaller dome in the center of the park where a ride called Celestial Carousel is thought to be housed believed and water features will dominate.

There has been more planting happening in what is expected to be the classic Monsters land.

Work is continuing on the Curse of the Werewolf roller coaster where there appears that something will be built above the long track sections.

How To Train Your Dragon Land is also developing really well with further rock work emerging.

This photo gives an overview of the land as it currently stands.

In this photo you can see sighting of the third Viking ship and recently added frame near the boat ride.

Porte Saint-Denis is coming to life in the Harry Potter land where exterior board has been recently added and a monument style column has been added to the land's portal.

The Paris streets are developing further in the Harry Potter themed land with scaffolding signalling work is continuing on these buildings.

In an update from The Donkey Kong roller coaster, we see misaligned railroad ties attached and a new circular concrete form added.

If you haven't seen the work on the in-park hotel recently you are going to be impressed with the progress as new beams and concrete forms have been added. A Porte-cochère is expected at the front.

The impressive dual-racing coaster can be seen in the photo below where progress continues. This is certainly going to be a must do roller coaster at Epic Universe and we can't wait to ride this one.

We can also see from the photo below that the roof steel continues to be placed on the dual-racing roller coaster.

I’m not sure if it’s too late to reconsider but for Universal’s Epic Universe in the DreamWorks area could you go back to the other option and make it look more like Fantasyland at Disney. This way it would be better because it should have more than one land from previous DreamWorks animated franchises. For Instance you should leave room too great a Madagascar land and make it just like the one in Singapore which sadly is being changed to Minions land and that’s stupid because Despicable Me is pretty common cat every Universal Studios around the world. However, Madagascar land isn’t common that land was pretty unique and while your at also make room for a Kung Fu Panda land even though there’s one at the Universal Studios in Beijing it would still be a good idea because that land will be pretty much unique also if it gets changed in the future. My point being is if you’re going to have a DreamWorks themed land don’t just let it be How to Train Your Dragon there add these two lands too it as well. If you can’t reconsider then just add these two lands separately too the park.
