October 16 - The last two days has seen a huge photo update posted to Twitter by Bioreconstruct and we are taking the highlights of these to show you the current progress that has been made on Epic Universe. It is amazing to see how this highly anticipated park is coming together with developments being made on all areas. Here we focus on the How To Train Your Dragon Land.

Here is an aerial overview of the current state of How To Train Your Dragon land in Epic Universe including the theater building which is believed to have a show similar to Universal Studios Beijing.

It is exciting to see how the station and first launch are progressing on the roller coaster. Interestingly, although the beams appear to be wood they are actually steel being painted to look like wood.

Further work continues in How To Train Your Dragon Land including the base coat painting of the roller coaster tunnel as well as sculpting and rock work. There also appears to be fencing which could mean testing is underway on the roller coaster and spinning rides.

Painting is taking place on the Viking ship and work continues on what is expected to be a shop. The structural frame is being added for rock work on the Great Hall restaurant.

Here is a look at the boat ride construction including walls with completed theming and the load/unload ramp is removed.

Work continues on the Isle of Berk, with the construction of the boardwalk is progress.

To finish, let's take a look at updates from the iconic dual-racing roller coaster where a lot of work is being done on the landscaping.

A central feature is being created which is currently surrounded by scaffolding and reach test devices continue to be seen on track. Electrical wiring is in progress under the track and a large crane is at work on the brake run.

We will continue to update you with progress from Epic Universe over the coming weeks and months as we continue to head closer to the 2025 opening. For previous updates continue reading...

I’m not sure if it’s too late to reconsider but for Universal’s Epic Universe in the DreamWorks area could you go back to the other option and make it look more like Fantasyland at Disney. This way it would be better because it should have more than one land from previous DreamWorks animated franchises. For Instance you should leave room too great a Madagascar land and make it just like the one in Singapore which sadly is being changed to Minions land and that’s stupid because Despicable Me is pretty common cat every Universal Studios around the world. However, Madagascar land isn’t common that land was pretty unique and while your at also make room for a Kung Fu Panda land even though there’s one at the Universal Studios in Beijing it would still be a good idea because that land will be pretty much unique also if it gets changed in the future. My point being is if you’re going to have a DreamWorks themed land don’t just let it be How to Train Your Dragon there add these two lands too it as well. If you can’t reconsider then just add these two lands separately too the park.
