For fans of The E.T. Adventure, do not panic! There have been a number of photos posted on Twitter by Orlando Amusement showing that the main entrance to The E.T. Adventure has gone.
There are construction walls up and guests are now being rerouted through the pre-show room to access the attraction meaning there is currently no pre-show and the exit shop has also been closed.

The reason for this appears to be due to work being done in the former KidZone area of Universal Studios Florida which was closed on January 15.
We are expecting this disruption to The E.T. Adventure to be a temporary one and we will update you with further details when they are released.
Universal announced back in November 2022 that Fievel's Playland, the Woody Woodpecker family coaster, Curious George wet and dry play areas, DreamWorks Destination and Meet Shrek & Donkey would close in order to "bring exciting new family entertainment to immerse guests in beloved animated characters."
The E.T. Adventure, Animal Actors on Location!, SpongeBob StorePants - including meet and greets with SpongeBob SquarePants and friends and the KidZone Pizza Company have all remained open and will continue to do so throughout the reimagining of the KidZone area into Universal's DreamWorks Animation Land which is slated to open in 2024.
