Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland closed in March 2022 in order for it to be reimagined in a big way with a renewed focus on play areas for young children. According to statements made by Josh D'Amaro at the IAAPA convention, “The newly reimagined Mickey’s Toontown will be a welcoming place where families and younger guests can connect and play together in fun new ways.”
The original reopening date for Mickey's Toontown was March 8, 2023 and then had to be pushed back due to construction delays caused by winter storms. Mickey's Toontown has now officially reopened at Disneyland Park and here is the new park map of the reimagined area.

One of the new areas of Mickey's Toontown is CenTOONial Park, which will act as the entrance of the new land and feature two interactive play experiences. At the center of CenTOONial Park, guests will be able to enjoy an interactive fountain which will include water tables for children to play with at its base.
According to reporter, Scott Gustin, we now know that the interactive water fountain contains 30 minutes of music/programming. There was speculation that we were in store for something special at night and it appears that there is indeed a special lighting package at night.

Another new experience is the "dreaming tree" which is inspired by the tree a young Walt Disney would daydream under in his hometown. It has sculpted tree roots for children to climb on and explore and also includes space for relaxation. There are open, grassy play spaces for everyone to enjoy.
Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard "incorporates a whimsical sound garden where kids will discover new ways to make wacky noises, as well as enjoy an all-new, elevated clubhouse." There will also be Goofy's House which will feature a weird and wonderful interactive candy making machine as well as Donald’s Duck Pond which will be a brilliant area for kids to enjoy splashing and meeting the loveable ducklings Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby.
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster is the perfect adventure for smaller kids and fans of Mickey's Toontown will be pleased to hear that Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin will return as well as being able to visit your favorite characters in their homes including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
There will be two new places for guests to purchase food and beverages, Good Boy! Grocers will be a roadside stand offering grab-and-go drinks and treats and Café Daisy is a sidewalk table eatery serving diner classics by none other than Daisy Duck herself.
The Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration kicked off on January 27, at Disneyland Resort with the opening of Disneyland Park's own version of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.
