UPDATE November 28 - The "Holiday Remix" for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is now here at EPCOT. For anyone who would like to check out what is in store for guests over this festive season then check out the video below. The "Holiday Remix" will last all the way through until December 30.
Instead of the usual line up, a new song will be played for a limited period of time which will be a "mash-up of seasonal jams." Senior Producer at Disney Imagineering, Wyatt Winter said, "This is an all-new, unique mash-up song... taking a lot of your favorite holiday songs we all know and love... we created a new song with it. You're going to hear some fun stuff with it. This song will be the song you hear during the holiday season at EPCOT. It's a lot of fun... we got to test it and play with it early this year."

UPDATE May 24 - We are now just days away from the Friday May 27, official opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. With so many previews having been held this month we have seen a number of POV posted online and thought we would share a couple of the best ones with you. We found out back in April there are six different song choices for the roller coaster meaning that each time you ride, you may get the chance to experience it in a different way. Check out the two POV below, the first is a complete walk through of the entire attraction starting from outside and the track is "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". Please Note - Spoiler Alert!
This second POV shows just the roller coaster itself and therefore is a lot shorter (just under 4 mins). The track is "One Way or Another" which certainly gives the coaster ride a different feel. Please Note - Spoiler Alert!

UPDATE (May 4) - Disney has released a video on TikTok revealing the merchandise which will be available for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It looks like there will be a range of clothing including T-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets as well as bags, water bottles and toys. Check out the video below:

UPDATE (April 29) - Disney has released a teaser video this week of what guests can expect from the new Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction when it officially opens on May 27.
Previews for Disney Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and D23 Gold Members have already begun and positive reviews are appearing online from those who have been lucky enough to have caught a preview. The newly released trailer is embedded below where you can see the first proper look at the on board experience guests will get when riding the new Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster at EPCOT.
UPDATE April 4 - Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will officially open at EPCOT on May 27, 2022. Alongside the long awaited announcement, Disney has released a trailer video showing a teaser of what guests can expect. The video is embedded below.
UPDATE April 2 - We are all eagerly awaiting the confirmation of an opening date for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT which has been rumored to be opening Memorial Day Weekend (see below). Disney has now released a video on Instagram hinting that an official opening date will be announced on Monday. We will keep you up to date with the latest details on our news and Facebook page.
February 23 - Just to be clear, this is not an official opening date announced by Disney.
There has been a rumor online through a tweet that was then deleted that the highly anticipated Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be opening at EPCOT on the Memorial Day Weekend (May 30, 2022). Currently on the official Walt Disney World site the attraction is still listed as "Coming Summer 2022".
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will feature a backwards launch which is a first for Disney and when it opens it will be one of the longest indoor coasters in the world. The attraction will feature elevated roller coaster trains that conceal track underneath, and can also move independently, spinning around 360 degrees to face screens or set pieces.
We will keep you posted as soon as an official opening date is announced for Guardians Of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. What we do know for certain is that we will finally get to ride this long awaited attraction at some point this Summer.
