UPDATE November 14 - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom kicked off on November 8 and if you look at the current ticket availability you will see that there are now only two nights left for guests to purchase tickets:

Tickets have been on sale to the general public since July for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Ticket prices range from $149 - $199 depending on the date selected, with children aged 3 - 9 getting a $10 reduction.
We are expecting that the tickets for these remaining nights will not be available for much longer as we head further through November. If you are hoping to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year, it is advisable to book as soon as possible so you are not left disappointed. June 23 - Disney has just officially announced that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will return this year.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place at the Magic Kingdom on 24 select nights between November 8 - December 22, 2022:
- November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
- December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22
Guests wanting to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will need a separate ticket which will entitle them to enjoy the full evenings event on the specific date they have chosen.
Tickets will go on sale for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on June 30 and to the general public on July 7, 2022. There will be limited tickets available so to avoid disappointment it is advisable to book early. Ticket prices range from $149 - $199 per person.
Disney has announced an array of entertainment for guests to enjoy during the event including:

- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
- A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas holiday show will be performed on the Rockettower Plaza Stage

- Jungle Cruise will once again be transformed into the Jingle Cruise
- Intergalactic dance party at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
- Holiday makeovers for Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Mad Tea Party
- Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa at various Magic Kingdom locations
- Three new photo opportunities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary
- Complimentary 50th Anniversary holiday themed commemorative keepsake

VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) - The Venice High School marching band will no longer perform in the Disney World parade. The band found out just a week prior to the performance that they would not participate due to a change in Disney’s policy.
According to a letter sent by the principal of Venice High School, the school was approved to perform in the morning parade, but they would have to alter or remove the school’s Indian logo, which shows a Native American face. Disney notified the school that they will not allow Native American depictions during the parade.
The principal and school district decided they could not approve a performance that required them to make that change.
Carl Brown, the former president of the boosters, and parent of a marching band student was unhappy with the situation. “It is such a disgraceful thing that they had to do in order to march and perform for their customers,” Brown said. “They are asking our kids to cover a logo that they’re all proud of.”
