Six Flags Great Adventure teased a big annoucement on Friday, saying "Big news coming Saturday October 8 at 3PM, stay tuned to our social media pages". It seems like the big announcement is that FRIGHT FEST POWER HOURS are returning on select nights this month.

Fright Fest Power Hours will run on October 13, 20, 26, 27 and 31 from 5-10PM. Guests with tickets to this event will be able to enjoy select roller coasters in the dark as well as the haunted houses which are available at Fright Fest.

The four haunted houses which are listed on the Fright Fest Power Hours website are; Big Top Terror, The Manor, Fears and Reflections of the Dead. Ticket prices for the Fright Fest Power Hours event are $49.99 per person with Sky Screamer Extreme Flight tickets available for $10 per person.

For some fans of Six Flags Great Adventure, news that Fright Fest Power Hours are returning wasn't really the big announcement they were expecting. News of a new attraction would have been a lot more welcome. From online chatter it seems like we will have to wait until 2024 for a new attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure.
