Status: Confirmed

Dates: June 17 - TBA 2022

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 attraction which is located in the Canada Pavilion in the World Showcase is now closed temporarily. The reason for this closure is for a limited time marketplace to be erected for the International Food & Wine Festival which kicked off on July 14 and will run through November 19, 2022.

We are unsure if Disney will take this opportunity to carry out a refurbishment on the attraction. We will update you on an official reopening date for Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 when it is announced.

Status: Confirmed

Dates: January 9 - 27, 2023

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios was set to close for refurbishment from August 22 - September 9. Disney has now made the decision to postpone this refurbishment until the beginning of 2023. It now reads on the official website page, "From January 9 to January 27, 2023, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will be closed for routine refurbishment."

It has been confirmed that Olaf will join the finale of For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration as part of the holiday season this December.

7. Fantasmic! (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

Status: Confirmed

Dates: Now -  TBA 2022

Last year it was announced that Fantasmic! would return to Walt Disney World in 2022 after over two years shuttered. And though we don't know exactly when Fantasmic! will be coming back to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the west coast version of this show returned to Disneyland Park on May 28.

We heard at the end of August that cast member rehearsals have finally begun for the highly anticipated Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios meaning there should be a reopening date announced very soon. Some fans are speculating this date could be released during the upcoming D23 event which is taking place in Anaheim, September 9-11, 2022.

We know that Fantasmic! will include a new show sequence which will replace the current Pocahontas scene. It is set to be slightly longer, contain technical enhancements and will feature the following characters; Pocahontas, Mulan, Elsa, Aladdin and Moana with each getting their own time to shine within the sequence.

8. Voyage Of The Little Mermaid (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

Status: Confirmed

Dates: March 2020 - TBA

Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the one show that Disney has remained quiet about since the theme parks reopened in July 2020 after the closures due to COVID-19 which began in March 2020.

Well, it now looks like the official website page for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid has been deleted and now only reads "Someone Ate the Page!" with a picture of Stitch on it.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid was a spectacular indoor show at Disney's Hollywood Studios retelling the story of The Little Mermaid live, with Ariel, Flounder, and all their underwater (and land) friends. The story was retold with memorable songs and colorful puppets.

There have been rumors floated that there could be an Encanto themed show to replace the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. We know there has been a lot of noise about bringing an Encanto themed attraction to Walt Disney World and this location would certainly be ideal to showcase the extremely successful Madrigals! There has not be anything confirmed by Disney so far and we will keep you updated on the fate of Voyage of the Little Mermaid as and when it is announced.
