This year’s D23 Expo welcomes the Disney Parks’ Wonderful World of Dreams Pavilion, which has brought with it a number of exciting details and teases for upcoming attractions from the Disney parks around the globe. The exhibit has some of these upcoming elements on display from parks such as Disneyland California, Tokyo DisneySea and Shanghai Disneyland.

Some particularly exciting additions to the exhibit are the colorful models of the newly transformed Mickey’s Toontown area at Disneyland Park, which is currently being reimagined and is set to reopen in 2023. Alongside this newly revamped area, the park’s newest attraction Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will also debut, with the attraction having received a brand new poster. Guests visiting the event can also glimpse the concept models of the ride vehicles for some of Tokyo DisneySea’s upcoming attractions. These new rides are set to be part of Fantasy Springs and will feature ride vehicles inspired by Tangled and Peter Pan. Disney also previewed the ride vehicle for a Wandering Oaken inspired coaster at Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as Shanghai Disneyland’s upcoming Zootopia attraction. Along with this look at the Zootopia attraction's ride vehicle, the exhibit teased an exciting feature that will play a major part in Shanghai Disneyland’s upcoming Zootopia themed land. The exhibit saw some of the puppets that will be used to bring even more magic to this upcoming expansion, showcasing just how this new land will bring some of the citizens of Zootopia to life. The characters will be used to create a truly immersive experience for guests as they explore Zootopia. Check out a clip of these Zootopia citizens in action below.

With more and more announcements set to emerge from this year’s D23 Expo, these unique reveals are likely to get fans incredibly excited for the future of Disney parks around the globe, with many hoping that this Sunday’s parks panel will bring even more information about these exciting upcoming attractions.
