UPDATE August 6 - Another haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is now confirmed. The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare is the fourth haunted house which is officially advertised on the website. Although there is lots of speculation about the remaining six haunted houses, we still await official confirmation and we will update you as soon as we have further information on these.

The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare sees guests being stalked by The Weeknd through a surreal nightmare of his After Hours music with bandaged maniacs performing extreme plastic surgery. It is described as being "a grotesque mannequin masquerade. His nightmare is now yours."

UPDATE July 26 - It has been reported by Screamscape that there has been information leaked about eight haunted houses that are coming to Halloween Horror Nights this year. Here is the leaked list:

  • Halloween - CONFIRMED
  • Universal Monsters: Legends Collide - CONFIRMED
  • The Horrors of Blumhouse - CONFIRMED
  • Spirits of the Coven
  • Dead Man’s Pier: Winters Wake
  • Fiesta De Chupacabras
  • Descendants of Destruction
  • Bugs: Eaten Alive

Firstly, yes there are only eight above leaving two out of the ten haunted houses still currently unknown. There has been noise that Universal are having problems securing certain IPs that they are hoping to use for the remaining two houses due to disputes about money. We will bring you further news on our news and Facebook page when we get it.

UPDATE June 24 - We are now in the full swing of Halloween Horror Nights announcements and here is yet another confirmed haunted house to be coming to this years event. The Horrors of Blumhouse haunted house has now been confirmed and to celebrate a trailer has been released which can be seen embedded below. "Freaky" and "The Black Phone" are said to feature. This official announcement shouldn't come as too much of a surprise as The Horrors of Blumhouse been speculated in last couple of months.

UPDATE June 12 - A teaser video has been released this week confirming another Halloween Horror Nights House coming to this years event. This new house will be themed to the 1978 film, Halloween. Check out the video which is embedded below.

UPDATE May 18 -  After an accidental leak last week regarding a Universal Classic Monsters haunted house coming to the Universal Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights, it has now been officially confirmed that 'Universal Monsters Legend Collide' featuring The Wolf Man vs. Dracula vs. The Mummy is coming to both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida this year.

The tweet below has been posted on the official Halloween Horror Nights account and includes a fun video clearly showing The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy. Halloween Horror Nights fans are sure to be super excited by this announcement and it will be a great chance for Universal to test out their classic monsters in preparation for the entire land which will be dedicated to them at the upcoming Epic Universe set to open for summer 2025. We will keep you posted on further updates to the Halloween Horror Nights offerings on our news and Facebook page when they are announced.

May 12 - Preparations for Halloween Horror Nights 31 are well underway and it is at this time of the year when we start to get teasers for what is to be expected at this years event. Well, there was a tweet posted which gave the name of a haunted house coming to Universal Studios Hollywood, named 'Universal Monsters Legends Collide'.

The image showed a haunted house with three Universal classic monsters; Dracula, Wolfman and The Mummy. Interestingly, this tweet was then quickly deleted, giving us the impression that the information was not meant for release just yet or that it was a media stunt to create attention which it definitely has suceeded to do. Whatever the reason, it does seem extremely likely that this will indeed be one of the haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2022.

Now for all you Halloween Horror Nights fans in Orlando, things become a bit more unclear. Whereas some haunted houses are the same at both resorts, we don't so far have any word whether this new haunted house 'Universal Monsters Legends Collide' is also destined for Orlando.

Interestingly, the second version speculation map which was revealed for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida back in mid-April did tease a haunted house called Universal Monsters: The Mummy Vs The Wolfman so it would make sense to assume there is a good chance we could see 'Universal Monsters Legends Collide' at both the Hollywood and Florida event.
