UPDATE August 6 - According to the Orlando Business Journal the rumored 500 roomed hotel within Epic Universe could be completed by the end of 2023, over a year before the official opening of Epic Universe. Universal has not commented on this rumored timeline but it does show that Universal certainly means business when it comes to Epic Universe with construction progressing well.

February 10 - Last week we heard the exciting news that Epic Universe will be opening in time for Summer 2025. We expected hotels to be part of the plan for the resort and already had details of a what is thought to be a 500-roomed hotel which will be attached to the back of the park.

New permits have been filed this week for Project 912 which is expected to be a second hotel situated across from Epic Universe. It will be situated on the corner of Universal Boulevard and at the end of what will be the extended Kirkman Road which will connect Epic Universe to the existing Universal Orlando Resort. 

Information regarding these new permits was tweeted by Alicia Stella as seen below:

New permits for Project 912 have posted, which we expect to be a hotel across from Epic Universe. Rumored to have 750 rooms, it'll be located at the corner of Universal Blvd and the extended Kirkman Rd. It appears that there will be a direct road which will connect this second hotel with the Epic Universe park entrance. There also looks to be another parcel of land opposite this potential second hotel which is rumored to likely be for a third hotel which could be connected to this second hotel but currently no permits have been submitted.

This second hotel is expected to have approximately 750 rooms but this has not been officially confirmed. We will keep you up to date on further details of project 912 and Epic Universe.
