This will be the well received news for Walt Disney World fans. There has been numerous reports online that fireworks have been seen testing over the Fantasmic! stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Surely this means a reopening date is very near!

Fantasmic! was last performed at Disney's Hollywood Studios in March 2020 before the COVID-19 theme park closures. Disney fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the return of this hugely popular nighttime spectacular.

Rumors online suggest we are in for an announcement at the upcoming D23 Expo in Anaheim on September 9-11.

We reported back in May that Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios will get a new show sequence featuring Mulan, Elsa, Aladdin, Pocahontas and Moana. These popular Disney characters will each get their chance to shine and there will be new technical enhancements included.

Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park returned on May 28, 2022. It has been teasing Walt Disney World fans for a number of months but with news of firework testing now being done, we think it is time for fans to be able to get very excited for its return to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
