UPDATE June 30 - Having only reported that Disney had added Star Wars Launch Bay and character meet and greet experiences to the Genie+ selection just a couple of days ago, we have to now bring you the news that these three experiences have disappeared from the Genie+ line up on the official website. It also says on the official page, Star Wars Launch Bay - Temporarily Unavailable with "no times available" when selecting July 17.

We are not completely sure what the meaning of this is as it seems to be very confusing. Could it be a website glitch? Did Disney mean to add them to the Genie+ selection in the first place? We are hoping to see the three Star Wars Launch Bay experiences added to the Genie+ line up at Disney's Hollywood Studios before the official reopening on July 17. We will keep you up to date with developments on this on our news and Facebook page. 

June 28 - Disney sometimes makes changes to the Genie+ attraction line up and we now know that when the Star Wars Launch Bay officially reopens at Disney's Hollywood Studios on July 17, that it will be added to the Genie+ $15 per person selection for guests to enjoy.

There will actually be three separate experiences listed in the Genie+ selection including:

• Star Wars Launch Bay (Beginning July 17, 2022)
• Star Wars Launch Bay: Encounter Darth Vader (Beginning July 17, 2022)
• Star Wars Launch Bay: Meet Chewbacca (Beginning July 17, 2022)

Not only can guests select the Star Wars Launch Bay through Genie+ but they will also be able to choose the character meet and greets including Darth Vader and Chewbacca. Please note - each of these experiences are listed separately so we are assuming they will have to be booked one at a time.

This will certainly be positive news for those Star Wars fans who are purchasing Genie+ and it is always a good thing when Disney adds extra experiences to the list giving guests more choice.

Guests can only purchase Genie+ on the day of their visit and your first selection can be made through the My Disney Experience App from 7:00AM. Guests who purchase the $15 per person Genie+ service can expect to be able to skip the regular line for 2-3 attractions if the first selection is secured early in the day.
