Revenge of the Mummy soft opened at Universal Studios Florida on August 30, after being closed for 8 months for an extensive refurbishment. Since then, the attraction has remained in technical rehearsal meaning that it would run intermittently to iron out any issues there may be.

Signage which explained to guests about this technical rehearsal has now been removed from around the attraction although it is still currently listed as in technical rehearsal on Universal's official website. Universal Express which allows guests to skip the regular line is now available to use on Revenge of the Mummy. This will be excellent news for those guests who are using Universal Express and has been a long time coming.

We assume Revenge of the Mummy has been in technical rehearsal for such a long time due to the detailed elements which needed extended testing. We hope that Revenge of the Mummy should see little down time now it is emerging from the technical rehearsal and we should see smooth running for this iconic attraction for the remainder of 2022 and 2023.
