UPDATE July 5 - We asked you whether the former Walt Disney World Cast Member, Jason Jeter, should have his life time ban lifted after he launched his appeal back in June. The reason for his life time ban was because he broke a number of the rules including showing restricted areas such as the Disney wedding pavilion on TikTok and drinking from the fountains which are only designed for decoration.

So, here are the results to the question, should the life time ban be lifted?

  • Yes - 11%
  • No - 89%

Well, there is certainly a majority and that majority says a clear "NO". As far as we can tell, Disney has not even responded to his letters to appeal his life time ban and we are expecting that will continue to be the case. The lesson to learn here is, follow the rules and if you don't, Disney is likely to enforce a ban where is deems necessary and once a ban is in place it looks like it stays in usually stays in place.

However, for those 11% of readers who said "YES" the ban should be lifted, there may still be some hope for Jason Jeter. One reader added this comment to our Facebook page, "He drank out of the fountain. That's about all he did that I remember. The wedding pavilion isn't really backstage and anyone planning a wedding can get a tour. They've let off and welcomed back (with more than open arms. . .) at least one person who was publishing content filmed backstage and they didn't say anything when he flagrantly broke their rules again. . ."

So, it looks like Disney do revoke bans on some occasions but we are guessing that is highly dependant on what the person did in the first place. We guess if he is actually serious in getting the life time ban lifted then he will just have to keep trying.

June 17 - It is unfortunately the case that sometimes people get life time bans from Walt Disney World because of their behavior or actions. This week one former Walt Disney World Cast Member is trying to appeal their life time ban.

Now, to set the scene we are not entirely sure whether the person in question is doing this genuinely or just as a TikTok stunt. Jason Jeter (@showmelovejete) had been very active on TikTok breaking a number of the Walt Disney World rules including showing restricted areas such as the Disney wedding pavilion and drinking from the fountains which are only designed for decoration.

As a result of his rule breaking, Jason Jeter lost his job as a Disney Cast Member and was given a life time ban from Walt Disney World. He has released a number of TikTok videos this week showing his journey to try and get this lifetime ban lifted.
