Well, the day has finally arrived! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind officially opens at EPCOT today. It has certainly been a long time coming but from reviews online, by those lucky enough to get a preview of EPCOT's first ever roller coaster over the last month, we should all be in for a treat.
We recently found out that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will only be available through a virtual queue as was the case for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when it opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It will also be available by purchasing Individual Lightning Lane.
So, many may wonder what the cost will be for purchasing Individual Lightning Lane? Reporter Scott Gustin, has recently posted on twitter that it will be priced between $14-$17 plus tax per person. It looks like it will unsurprisingly be at the top end of this at $17 if guests are visiting May 27-30 and then is set to drop to $14 from May 31 onwards.
As with all Individual Lightning Lane attractions the price does fluctuate and this looks to be the same for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The tweet is embedded below.

Just be aware that if you do choose to purchase Individual Lightning Lane for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that your pre-ride experience may be affected as you will briefly glimpse the Galaxarium and will be forced to totally skip the Xander Gallery.
