UPDATE February 13 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed again today. It is scheduled to reopen on Monday February 14. Be sure to check the Walt Disney World calendar before you go.

UPDATE  February 8 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon was originally scheduled to open tomorrow (Wednesday Feb 9) after two days of closures due to continued cold weather. It now appears, according to the official calendar, that the park will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday Feb 9) and Thursday Feb 10 and should reopen on Friday Feb 11, 2022. Be sure to check the Walt Disney World calendar before you go.

UPDATE February 7 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closed today and is now also scheduled to close tomorrow (Tuesday Feb 8). As the cold weather continues in Orlando we are expecting to see more disruptions throughout February. The park is scheduled to open Wednesday Feb 9. 

UPDATE February 6 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon was closed yesterday (Feb 5) and will be closed again today (Feb 6). As the cold weather continues in Orlando we are expecting to see more closures throughout February. 

UPDATE January 28 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed again today and for the whole of the weekend (January 29 and 30) due to continuing cold weather. It is due to open on Monday January 31.

UPDATE January 26 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed today and tomorrow January 27 due to continuing cold weather. It is due to reopen on Friday January 28.

UPDATE January 25 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closed today due to cold weather. 

UPDATE - It has now been confirmed on the Walt Disney World Calendar that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed on Saturday January 22 and Sunday January 23 due to cold weather. It is currently due to reopen on Monday January 24, 2022.

UPDATE - It has now appeared on the Walt Disney World Calendar that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed today (January 17) and Tuesday January 18, 2022. We are assuming this closure is due to the continued period of cold weather Orlando is experiencing. As of now 9:35AM Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is planned to reopen on Wednesday January 19.

UPDATE - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed again today (January 14, 2022) due to cold weather. It looks like it is planned to open tomorrow.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon only reopened on January 2, 2022 after being closed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Guests have been eager to return to this water park over the last week.

It has certainly had a rough reopening with numerous days where it has been forced to close due to cold weather. It has now appeared on the official Walt Disney World Calendar that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed again today (Feb 13).

It is currently due to reopen tomorrow on Monday February 14, 2022 10:00 until 5:00pm and for the rest of the week. Unfortunately this will mean that due to Disney's Blizzard Beach now being closed for refurbishment both of the Disney water parks will closed on these days. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon saw an extremely disrupted January and with the cold weather in Orlando persisting we are expecting that more closures are likely throughout February. We will keep you updated on our News and Facebook pages.
