The extended evening opening hours for Deluxe Resort guests at Walt Disney World have been released through March 2, 2022 for Disney's Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

We heard back in January 2021 that Extra Magic Hours would not return and would be replaced by a new "Early Entry" Program which kicked off on October 1, 2021 in time for the start of Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary celebrations. The new program sees all resort guests able to enter all four parks 30 minutes prior to the official opening every day.

Over the holiday period the early entry has been extended to 60 mins on each day until January 3, 2022 which gives resort guests extra time in the parks during this busy period. 

Extra evening hours which was a much loved perk by many Walt Disney World fans are now only available to those guests staying in Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels. The evening hours consist of two extra hours after the normal closing time and usually take place on a Monday night at EPCOT (usually 9-11pm apart from December 27 which is 10-midnight) and a Wednesday night at Disney's Magic Kingdom (usually 8-10pm apart from January 5 which is 9-11pm).

The exceptions to this are Friday February 4 at Disney's Magic Kingdom instead of Wednesday February 2 and Monday February 21 instead of Wednesday February 23. The exceptions at EPCOT are Wednesday February 23 instead of Monday February 21.
