When Peppa Pig Theme Park opens on February 24, 2022 in Winter Haven (adjacent to LEGOLAND Florida) it will be a certified Autism Center and will include a wheelchair-friendly ride.

It was announced at the IAAPA event that "we are partnering with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to become a Certified Autism Center, which involves our whole staff undergoing a rigorous training schedule to become aware of, and comfortable in working with families who have a child or even an adult with autism." "When we open the Peppa Pig Theme Park on 24 February, our entire resort will be a Certified Autism Center."

Peppa Pig Theme Park are taking steps to ensure parents have the ability to see the park's comprehensive accessibility and sensory guides which will be available on the park's website in order for them to pre-plan their day to ensure their child's needs are fully met. The accessibility guide will also be available as a hard copy at the entrance to the park if required. 

Peppa Pig Theme Park will also host a wheelchair-accessible ride, Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride. It has been specially designed to allow children in wheelchairs to be able to be able to ride without having to be lifted out of their chairs. You can see how this will work from the video embedded below:

Peppa Pig Theme Park is aimed at preschoolers but promises to be fun for all the family and will host six rides including Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure to Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride and Mr. Bull’s High Striker, Peppa's Pedal Bike Your and Peppa Pig's Balloon Rode.

It will also include numerous attractions with many based on iconic scenes from the Peppa Pig television series including George's Fort, Grandpa Pig's Greenhouse, George's Tricycle Trail, Madame Gazelle's Nature Trail, Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, Mr. Potato's Showtime Arena, Peppa Pig's Treehouse, Pirate Island Sand Play and Rebecca Rabbit's Playground.

Although Merlin Entertainments have numerous Peppa Pig experiences for fans to enjoy across the world including Peppa Pig World situated at Paulton's Park in the UK, Peppa Pig Theme Park is the first time Peppa and her friends will have a whole theme park all to themselves anywhere in the world.
