Though it may not initially seem like it, Disney parks have truly come into their own in recent years as a real food lover’s paradise. If you count yourself as one of the many who love eating their way around the Disney parks and resorts, there are some big changes taking effect right now you should know about.
This month we get several new openings at EPCOT, a returning favorite event is announced for the holiday season, plus an exciting limited-time offering at the Contemporary Resort's California Grill is announced.
1. Space 220 now open
Nearly two years after it was originally supposed to open, Space 220 is now open at EPCOT. After a short ceremony, this restaurant opened to walkup guests, with queues quickly forming and some guests waiting hours to be among the first to dine at this intergalactic new location.
This new table service restaurant features a prix-fixe menu where guests can enjoy either a two-course lunch for $55 or a three-course dinner for $79. You can check out the full menu for this futuristic location here. Reservations can be booked now for dates starting on September 27, 2021.
2. California Grill announced 50th anniversary prix-fixe menu
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort has announced that it will celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary with a new limited time three course prix fixe menu that will be available beginning October 1, 2021. This dining experience will cost $89 per person (ages 10 and up), and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9). You can check out the full menu for this limited time event here.
