Star Wars Boarding Group

Disney has announced that starting Sept. 23, they will be "pausing" the use of virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, with guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios now able to experience this incredible attraction using a traditional standby queue for the first time since it opened in 2019.

This change comes right after Disney made changes to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boarding group process that made it easier for parties to streamline their experience in the My Disney Experience app

Interestingly, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland, as well as Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (when it opens at EPCOT in October) will continue to have free virtual queues for the time being.

Star wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood will also have a paid, skip-the-line option for guests who pay for an individual attraction upgrade as part of Disney+ when that service launches later this year.
