Just like Walt Disney World, all of the other major theme parks in central Florida, including Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have made wearing masks optional in outdoor areas. Social distancing efforts at these parks are also winding down as well, which should help these parks deal with rising summer crowds.

Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites has announced that it will be reopening on May 26, 2021. This hotel had previously reopened last summer before closing again a few months later, but it looks like this time this hotel will stay open for good as guests flock to Universal Orlando Resort this summer.

A new Jurassic World Tribute Store will be coming soon to Universal Studios Florida with a board simply saying "Coming Soon" situated outside. The store is located in the same area as the former Mardi Gras tribute store, near to the Revenge of the Mummy Ride. As of yet no official details or opening date have been announced but we are expecting that it will be open in time for the opening of the VelociCoaster next month.
