One of the most popular experiences at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is getting a little bit more expensive! The price to create a handbuilt lightsaber inside Savi’s Workshop has increased from $199 to $219, according to the Walt Disney World website. Guests who made reservations for the experience under the previous amount will not be charged the additional $20, but beginning today all new reservations will be subject to the higher price. 

It's important to remember that this experience is subject to full amount no-show fees which is why it is crucial to ensure you have a Disney Parks Pass reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios lined up BEFORE you make your reservation so you won't end up paying for something you aren't able to experience. 

Savi's workshop continues to be available daily inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge but with capacity reduced to allow for physical distancing between guests. As with in other areas of the park, all guests will still be required to wear masks during the experience.
