Tower of Terror New Look

Walt Disney World is kicking off their 18-month long 50th anniversary celebration with some “EARidescence” at their park, adding some extra special magic to all of the well-known park icons around the resort, as they turn into "Beacons of Magic" in the following ways:

Cinderella's Castle is already sporting a new color scheme but this iconic structure will add golden bunting and a 50th anniversary crest as part of its festive new look.

Permanent new lighting will be installed on the exterior of Spaceship Earth resembling stars in a nighttime sky.

Guests who visit Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the evenings will be able to see magical fireflies dancing in the night sky.

Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be getting a new look as well, with golden accents matching its fellow icons.

In addition to these icon makeovers, Mickey and Minnie are getting new outfits for the occasion as well (though no word yet about a return to meet and greets just yet).

Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration will kick off later this year on October 1, 2021 and will be a super-sized event, lasting until April 1, 2023, hopefully giving as many people as possible the chance to take part in this historic milestone. Will you be visiting during this time period?

I would probably be visiting in December or when at least meet-and-greets return, whichever comes later.
