Blizzard Beach Water Park

Though all four of Walt Disney World's theme parks reopened this past July, water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have remained shuttered for the time being, with no reopening in sight. However, several months ago Disney released an update for the reopening of the water parks via its annual passholder website, saying that they will be closed until at least March, with the plan currently being to reopen at least one water park on March 7, 2021. And now it has been confirmed that Disney will be opening its Blizzard Beach water park on that date.

Right now Blizzard Beach is the only water park at the resort that is planned to reopen, as Typhoon Lagoon is still shuttered for the time being. However, as the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic continue to ease and guests look forward to late spring and summer visits to Walt Disney World, we'd imagine the resort will be getting their other water park up and running as soon as possible in the new year as well.

Disney has said that Cast Members who work at this park will be returning "soon" to help get Blizzard Beach ready to welcome guests this spring to help the park kick off Blizzard Beach’s 25th season in grand fashion.

Single day water park tickets and annual passes that include the water park option are not on sale yet, but hopefully will be soon. In the meantime, guests can still purchase the "Water parks and Sports" add on to theme park tickets for visits in 2021. You can check out admission options here
