Universal Orlandos Cinematic Celebration

Due to COVID-19 many shows and experiences failed to return when the parks reopened after closures this summer. There is encouraging news from Universal Studios Florida as their Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration night show has appeared on their official calendar of events at 9:45pm on Saturday October 24, 2020.

Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration night show first debuted in 2018 and takes place on the lagoon and includes dancing fountains, pyrotechnics, lasers, water screens and projection mapping.

Universal Studios Florida has extended its operating hours till 10:00pm on weekends of Oct 24 - 25 and Oct 31 - Nov 1, 2020. We are unsure whether this show will happen on each of these nights or whether Saturday 24th at 9:45pm will be a one off. We are hopeful that if this proves successful that Universal will choose to return this popular show to a more regular operating schedule. Check out the latest show times calendar here to keep up to date with when this show will be running.

Universal Studios Florida is currently offering a modified Halloween Horror Nights event at the park which includes the two scare mazes the Tooth Fairy and Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives. Guests can also take place in a scavenger hunt and purchase spooky food and drink throughout the park. Universal Islands of Adventure is offering Trick-or-Treating on event days.
