Sesame Street Kids' Weekends, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

We have heard many reports recently regarding modified Fall Halloween events offerings at theme parks in and around Orlando and around the US including Universal's daytime Halloween Horror Nights event.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced this week that they will be hosting Sesame Street Kids' Weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 - November 1, 2020. The event will run from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM each day and will be included in the park's admission price.

Those guests who choose to visit on these select days will be able to take part in a range of Halloween experiences including contact-free trick-or-treating in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun play area. Count von Count will host 'The Count's Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show' at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:45 PM in the outdoor Sunny Day Theater.

If you are still up for more Halloween fun, the Cookie Monster will be in the Gwazi Pavilion with a special cookie decorating experience. This costs $14.99 per person and must be booked in advance.

In order to take part in the trick-or-treating, guests must purchase a new reusable bag from Sesame Street Safari of Fun or gift shops located around the park. It looks like there are four to choose from each with a different Sesame Street character on them. Children are permitted to dress up in Halloween costumes for this event.

After trick-or-treating there will be a chance for guests to grab a photo with their favorite Sesame Street characters including Big Bird, Oscar and Count von Count.

Reservations must be made in advance if you want to visit on one of the Sesame Street Kids' Weekends and can be done so by visiting Busch Garden Tampa Bay's official site. The cookie decorating experience can also be booked on the same page.
