Following the announcement that several restaurants around Walt Disney World would be reopening in September and October, Disney has announced another very exciting reopening at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be taking place later this month!
Beginning on September 20th, Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen, allowing guests to once again construct their own lightsabers. As you might expect, the experience will be slightly adjusted for health and safety reasons, with capacity reduced to allow for physical distancing between guests and all guests will still be required to wear masks during the experience.
Advanced reservations for the reopening of Savi’s Workshop will open September 16. The experience will still be limited to the builder and one guest, and the cost is $199.99 per lightsaber, plus tax, with payment due upon arrival at the location. If guests change their minds about this option and fail to timely cancel and are a no-show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $199.99 per builder, which is why it is VERY important to ensure you have a Disney Parks Pass reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios lined up BEFORE you make your reservation.
