Be our guest

Though we saw this new My Disney Experience feature soft debut a few weeks ago, it looks like Disney is ready for a full roll out of its new walk-up waitlist feature, which allows guests to check walk-up availability at a table-service restaurant inside the app. After launching the app guests can select “Check Dining Availability” choose the current date and party size, and then select “Now” as the timeframe. A list of restaurants with walk-up availability will be displayed and guests can “Join Walk-Up List” for restaurants with space to accomodate additional guests. This feature is now available at the following Epcot restaurants:

  • Biergarten Restaurant
  • Coral Reef Restaurant
  • Garden Grill Restaurant
  • Le Cellier Steakhouse
  • Rose & Crown Dining Room

Beginning tomorrow, the service will be available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the following restaurants available:

  • 50’s Prime Time Café
  • The Hollywood Brown Derby
  • Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
  • Oga’s Cantina
  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Finally on September 3, the service will become available at the following Magic Kingdom restaurants:

  • Be Our Guest Restaurant
  • Jungle Navigation Skipper Canteen
  • Liberty Tree Tavern
  • The Plaza Restaurant
  • Tony’s Town Square

Not only is this a great tool for guests looking to grab something to eat, but it also helps reduce contact further for Cast Members working at these restaurants, so this new addition seems like a real win-win for everyone!
